Colonial Flax Processing

Using antique tools presenter Barb Johns will demonstrate how flax was processed into linen thread in the colonial era. The public will have the opportunity to try their hand at the flax break, scutching knife, heckles, and spinning wheel. This Family Friendly program has been a perennial favorite at our site!
