Summer Trek: Shelf Island

Visit an ancient island of the Genesee River. Summer Trek outings are for those who enjoy the thrill of a more exploratory nature hike. We will visit farther to reach places in the park, often with scenic views. Bring a lunch, water and sturdy footwear. Parts of the hike may be off-trail. Meet at the Parade Grounds parking area.
