Free and Open to All Bird Watching with author Lori Griffin Burns, 9am-10am. Casual outdoor event on John Brown Farm walking trails. No birding experience necessary, but bring binoculars if you have them. Introduction to Orienteering/Nature Walk with Max, 10:30-11:30am. Max Eaton, author of Survival Scout: Lost in the Mountains, will teach the basics of map reading and compass use.
