Invasive Species Management Orientation

Come make a difference at your favorite park. Invasive Plant Orientations have been designed by the Invasive Stewardship Team and will inform volunteers which invasive plants to target, proper methods of disposal, and areas of most concern within the park. Volunteers will help staff in efforts to curb the spread of invasive plant species. Work is off trail using different hand tools and it's advised to wear appropriate attire for the weather/environment as well as bring sunscreen, bug spray, and water. A limited number of pruners and work gloves will be available, so we welcome you to bring your own if you have them. Once oriented, volunteers are welcomed back to sign in and help out whenever the Visitor Center is open! Register Via form forms.gle.
