Exhibition Opening Presentation and Reception for Gone Whaling: Long Island Seamen of Color

Sandi Brewster-Walker, local historian and Executive Director of the Montaukett Indian Nation will discuss her research and the world of the Long Island Seamen of Color. The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society will be on hand with their mobile trailer used for responding to whale and other marine mammal strandings on Long Island. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
