Harvest Faire

Crailo State Historic Site
An old-fashioned agricultural fair, highlighting many aspects of the harvest season in the colonial era Hudson River Valley. Historical reenactors, 17th & 18th century music, Native American Performance, African Storytelling and a variety of demonstrations will be available, along with games and activities. The museum will be available for Open House (self-guided) tours. Food truck on site all day. This event is free to the public.

Haunted Tales from The Crow's Wood

Do you believe in ghosts? The people of Colonial Greenbush did! Join us around the campfire on the grounds of Crailo for an evening of haunted tales, spectres, and portents of doom! Bring lawn chairs & dress for the outdoors. Program appropriate for ages 12 & above. Younger siblings and the faint of heart are invited to paint spooky pumpkins. Mulled cider & donuts. Reservations required by 10/16.

St. Nicholas Day!

Crailo State Historic Site
This medieval saint's day was brought by the Dutch colonists to the Hudson River valley and traditionally celebrated on December 6th. Festivities will include 17th and 18th century traditional treats, hearth baking, live music, Open House (self guided) tours of the museum, crafts & activities and of course – a visit from St. Nicholas (we hope you've been good this year!). Free to the public.

Come and revel in the holiday traditions of our past with live music, traditional fare, and more! Then cross the river where the celebration continues at Schuyler Mansion!
